The property was peaceful and spotlessly clean. True that it is a little out of town but it only takes approx 20-25mins to get toT Tha phae gate , I enjoyed the walk there and back everyday. it would be too much of a jaunt if you have mobility issues. Some Tuk Tuk drivers did not know the location of the Villa (suppose this is due to it being a relatively new complex) but if you pick up a card from reception most of the drivers will ring the hotel to ask how to get you back to the Villa. Pool area was really nice, water cold but in my books what you’d expect after being in a hot climate, was really refreshing. The fridge/freezer was great as most hotels only seem to have minibars. I was carrying 5 months worth of diabetes medication which had to be kept at a certain temperature so I was really impressed as I had no worries with storing & freezing my ice packs for the onward journey. The Domestic staff were really lovely especially the man who brings the box of toiletries and linen in the morning, sorry I did not get his name but he was always very polite. The room & shower size was great and good air conditioning. Free bicycles to get around on.

We actually stayed almost 3 weeks at Villa Sanpakoi due to our transition to our long-term stay to a rental house, and Villa Sanpakoi's great quality in all aspects. Everything exceeded our expectation during this three weeks' stay, from staff's services, room comfort, breakfast, to environment! It's like a comfortable home to us. Whenever we need any help, the staff responded right away! One day I asked the front desk where I could buy a power converter. She started search for me right away and found out all the details and confirmed with me, and then purchased and delivered to my room within one day. I was very impressed. Staff are extremely kind and helpful! Hotel rooms and environment have a great taste of design, everywhere looks beautiful! I strongly recommend the hotel for your visit to Chiang Mai!

It's on a quiet street with good restaurants nearby. There is a local Thai restaurant opposite the road. We ate there 3 times. 3-5 mins walk to a brand new good pizza place. Rooms are clean, staffs are friendly , pool is clean (even we didn't use it during our stay in December, it was a bit cold) . Breakfast is good. It's not too far from night market, Central Mall etc. we have a car so getting to Nimman area was not an issue. We also took grab car there once, and it was only 125 bhat during non peak hour and 240 bhat for peak hour. We have enjoyable stay . Highly recommend!

The room was large and had a frig and safe. The breakfast had many items to choose from and the pool was wonderful! It wasn’t too far to walk over to Old Town. There weren’t many restaurants nearby, but not too far down the same street was a place with 2 restaurants and a coffee shop, called Bella Madre Pizza (The best pizza we’ve had in a long time!) and Food4Thought East (The food was delicious and large plates)! There’s also a little laundromat with washers and dryers a couple of doors down. We liked the accommodations so much we kept adding nights!

The hotel came as a surprise because was not expecting such a nice place for the price. The room was a good size, with a small balcony directly onto the pool, which was also very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, assisting with a car to go to the bazaar at night and providing help when our rental car had to be replaced. The breakfast was also quite good value. The huge gold and white koi in the fountain were beautiful.
